Why my Whatsapp Web is not opening? This is a frequent question and it can happen sometimes due to the following reasons:
1️⃣ Some minor hang-up issues
Just reload WhatsApp web and that will solve the issue most of the time.
2️⃣ Slow internet connection
Make sure both mobile and computer have a fast internet connection. The minimum recommended internet speed is 5 MBPS on both mobile and computer. You can check the internet speed on fast.com.
3️⃣ Some other extensions in your browser interfering with your WhatsApp web data
Step 1: Create a new browser instance (Watch it here).
Step 2: Open the new browser instance and install WASender.
Step 3: Log in to WhatsApp web. If this works then you can use this browser instance for using WhatsApp web.
4️⃣ If any of this does not work uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp on your phone
But before that,
- Take a backup.
- Next, uninstall WhatsApp from your phone.
- Re-install WhatsApp.
- Now, restore backup on the phone and open WhatsApp Web.
Your WhatsApp Web should be now be working fine.
5️⃣ If it still does not work, it means your WhatsApp Web has overloaded and the final option is to clear the chats.
This might be upsetting but this is the only option left. So yes, CRY OUT LOUD.
Why on Earth did that happen?
Well, a simple answer to that question is that when you send too many bulk attachments, the WhatsApp server gets overloaded and the WhatsApp web does not load.
What to do now?
The only option left for you is to clear all the chats.
(Before you proceed, do note that this is a permanent deletion and after this, you cannot restore your messages. So before deleting, if you have any important chats, just export them using the export chat feature)

On your device, open WhatsApp and go to
Settings > Chats > Clear All Chats
Note: Make sure that you clear all the media because that is what is causing the overload.
